rb is back again with a new episode. this time featuring south africas rezkar with a sublime piece of vintage deep house, known from the altered moods recordings outfit and brought to our ears by dj jus-ed and his underground quality radio show. thanks for that, ed! please find rezkars above the clouds remixed by john daly. our favorite irishman was hardworking enough to even add some bonus beat action - in case you prefer your meat raw. additionally, you will find an edit taking advantage of those and melting them with the rezkar hook line - done by the mysterious mystery boy. above the clouds freedom is said to be unlimited. unlike this record! rb021 comes in 499 special hand stamped cloudy sleeves, folded by the janson family and stamping done by lastminuteartworkpanic.
to celebrate the birthday we are releasing a series of five singles, available on 10 inch vinyls (1-5). the series will be followed by the huge 10 years clr compilation with a special collectors artwork. it has been mixed and edited by chris liebing and all the 10 tracks, which appear on the singles and later on the compilation are exclusive and specifically produced for this purpose. chris liebing and green velvet teamed up for the first time pretty much by accident. dustin zahn actually became some kind of obstetrician when he started this mash-up. alex bau is known as one of the long time clr artists and obviously had to contribute a track to the series. both tracks are road tested and guarantee serious damage on the dancefloors!
we welcome this fantastic producer on trapez with this piece of music which is quite different from most of what we get today. the title track >ghosts< feels like as if klaus nomi and kraftwerk were performing together... something we would have loved to have seen but which never happened. this track is not for the people who love it safe but for the adventurous and the wicked. voices like sirens striking with high pitched tongues being counteracted by basslines with a surface that can only be described as rough as chunks of splintered steel. a brilliant stop and go feeling shows that christian martin is the master on the steering wheel when it comes to controlling the movement.
its still like that: even though digital is everywhere there is still something very special about having your own tracks on a vinyl release. so this is it again: the very best of the last releases on koletzki_s sublabel stil vor talent digital on a double-sided vinyl edition. starting off with two tracks by bruch & junior that couldnt be more different: while >fiesta de la residencia< sounds like somebody threw some spanish vocals and trumpets into a pool of tech-house beats and basslines at a maniac afterhour on the white island (ergo: great),>sunset< is the deeply euphoric sound for the morning after. the synthesizers so crisp and all around you, the beat and bassline so warm and seductive: this is purely magical music that will make you forget when the sun went down or up the last time while still making you want to shake your legs to the strong bassline and chunky loop. hit! on the flip then comes a re-work of a massive hit on stil vor talent: a 2010 version of nicones >una rosa< complete with the original spanish vocals, but a much more grooving loop that turns into an absolute percussion fest. claps turn into effects and we all raise our hands to those reverbed original vocals. last up australian murat kilic with the wonderfully oldskool house anthem >summer traffic<: great melodic pads, a superbly harmonic bassline and when the breakdown kicks in, an ever-indulging xylophon melody. this whole record has got summer written all over it and helps us all get through this icy winter.
memoryman is the new alias of uovo, the well known member of the pastaboys. over the past 15 years he has released on labels including irma, defected and renaissance. today sees his first release on tenax recordings, and he debuts with a real house bomb. powerfull bassline, groovy drums and obsessive vocal sample come together perfectly to create a fantastic dancefloor gem. this great track receives a monster of a remix from label head alex neri & federico grazzini.
already played by steve bug!! maetrik heads up the next audiomatique 12inch with the stunning >underrate dis< ep. well known for his great work on labels like mothership or dumb unit the man from valencia continues to grow from strength to strength with this storming three tracker. melting house, techno and sinister, super funky elements into a truly unique and unmissable package, theres sheer talent on display in unearthly amounts!
big with nick holder (dnh), someone else, afrilounge, funkwerkstatt, italo boyz, andré kronert. to sound the bell for the slowly but constantly sprouting spring also in a musical respect, the crew from acker called for support from the mediterranean sceneries of italy: the two operators of the lula circus have already pricked up the ears of lovers of flamboyant tech house tunes with their recent releases on resopal. matching the season, they are now back to send up the temperatures on dance floors again.
taking a look back on the life of nima gorji, one must quote that this man truly is an international freak in music! so who else should be more predestined for releasing on international freakshow than him?! the two tracks nima gorji presents to us on this record define themselves as a crispy, warm and trippy kind of no-shit-techhouse with a twist! sometimes, the title-track is building up its hypnotizing power carefully, bringing the dancers tension to the maximum level! after summer on the flipside shows a proper, strongly & well structured techhouse-beat combined with subtle, deep and warm synth sounds and its bassline is playing games with the spooky vocal samples and effects nima gorji uses as perfect as it gets throughout the whole tune
this is the first release of markus doerr on clubstar. he delivers a techy cruncher with rastaman vocals. riballo teamed up with the adilette man for a dubby remix, while niko tune gives his clubstar debut with his interpretation. and now let the music speak!

the answer is the freaksound...!!! superlovers is spoken by one of the freaksound labelheads, mr. junior freak himself. this track should reflect the spirit of the dj & label community www.freaksound.at this massive electro house tune has a monster break for raising hands on the dancefloor and an unmistakeable message for every party freak around our planet. new way shows the deeper, but not too minimal side of junior freak. very warm and atmospheric sounds with a drastic melody break that should never ends providing a special pleasure for fine selected electronic ears.

third poco label ep. a sweet and charming melody, created by the excellent jazz musician martin leiton, is the seed of this release in which oscarfly & zippticher make a beautiful display to a tremendous track. this release has been conceived and nourishes to marvel the audience with its excellent production and arrangement. this ep comes with two remixes. first one from yostek, an wellknown israeli producer, who gets a good techno version and second one from oscarfly, betting on a careful groovy and cheerful track.

the pizeta duo is the meeting between ale zeta (aka zeta funk) and alex pini. from their different ideas and their experiences was born their first track called >klezmer feat. reagadelica (kailash rec)<. this track was the first of a genre called now gipsy sound. from that moment many world producer has created tracks with this kind of sounds inside. >klezmer< is one of the most played tracks all over the world from 2 years. after that success they enjoyed working together and their are still trying, with the new tracks, to make more people know their music.

newtonns history started in 1985. in a retrospective, his musical career looks like a frantic puzzle. there were influences of pop, rock and electronic sounds from the early seventies, so in fact, newtonns - better known by his alter ego cut a kaos - reputation and success could be traced back to all these music styles. since 2 years alexander friedlhuemer (so his registered name) has straighten and oriented his label bacteria records towards house and tech-house. the current and most important, new release >the cursor< is remixed by lars eckmann. catchy tech-house tunes with a flawor of real techno influences. as a result, 2010 is newtonns year and his spectacular productions will break all limits!
